Experienced Relay TEST Technicians & Commissioning Engineers - MANY Opportunities



For over 30 years, American Electrical Testing Co., Inc. (AETCO) has successfully maintained a staff of highly trained engineers and technicians offering complete field testing services for acceptance and maintenance of electrical power systems and equipment from low voltage through extra high voltage.

Due to continued rapid growth, American Electrical Testing has immediate needs in MA, CT, NY, MD, PA and various other locations for:

▪ Relay Test Technicians/ Field Engineers

▪ Substation Commissioning Engineers

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be self-starters with good working knowledge of electrical and electromechanical substation equipment and relay logic, having worked in Utilities substations
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional electrical experience testing and maintaining electrical equipment in medium to high-voltage substations
  • Extensive Distribution and/ or Transmission side experience (both a plus)
  • Relay Technicians must have knowledge and hands-on experience with Protective Relays (including Microprocessor and Electromechanical Relays: GE, SEL...)
  • Experience using Doble, Hipot and various electrical test equipment
  • Must take pride in work and possess a safe and positive attitude
