Primary Responsibilities:
- Investigate, recover and resolve all types of claims as well as recovery and resolution for health plans, commercial customers and government entities, including initiating telephone calls to members, providers and other insurance companies to gather coordination of benefits data. Investigate and pursue recoveries and payables on subrogation claims and file management
- Process recovery on claims
- Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies and contract compliance

Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in one of the following categories: insurance, legal, subrogation, or collections
- 1 year of experience experience sending professional documents/letters to contacts outside of company - professional phone etiquette
- High School Diploma or GED
Assets:
- Experience working with with sensitive Protected Health Information
- Typing - minimum 35/40 WPM
- Experience working with Medicare or Medicaid claims
- Ability to utilize pertinent data and facts to identify and resolve issues
- Ability to multitask
