Currently seeking an IT Clerk Assistant. This is an entry level position but if you have experience it is a plus. Some duties include:

1. Maintain network operations

  1. Inspect machines for proper operation
  2. Verify WAN links, e-mail and other programs are working correctly
  3. Ensure daily backups are working correctly, performs manual back-ups as needed
  4. Check with users for network problems
  5. Upgrade and maintain servers, printers, etc

2. IT administrative support

  1. Order PC equipment and computer supplies
  2. Provide recommendations from research on vendor pricing and availability
  3. EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)

3. Provide internal and external customer service and user support.

  1. Assists with resolving hardware, software and network problems
  2. Assists with defining problems and instructs user on proper operation/procedures as necessary

c. Assists with discussing problems with users to find long & short term solutions

  1. Assists with coordinating hardware replacement, scheduling and repair
  2. Assists with upgrades and software maintenance
  3. Sets up electronic systems (ADDS Terminals, PC’s etc.) for users
  4. Add new users into system and remove users out of system

This is a temp to perm position. The company will provide training to the right candidate. You must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
