Research Contracts Officer The University of Houston (UH) is currently seeking a Research Contracts Officer to review, negotiate and execute all research contracts and subcontracts in accordance with UH policies and procedures, and provide contract guidance to researchers during the funding acquisition process. Additional duties include developing and negotiating sub-recipient agreements with external funding agencies; analyzing research contract and agreement structures and determining the legal implications; interpreting university procedures and appropriate governmental regulations regarding research contract activities; assisting senior level administrators in designing and/or evaluating proposed research contracts; providing contractual guidance to faculty and research staff in securing research funding and performing other job-related duties as required. Qualifications: Requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
