Sr. SW Architect

Duties & Requirements

· Responsible for overall architecture, design & development of new software & extensive software revisions of the end-to-end solution (including operations center & custom embedded clients)
· Define product requirements & create high-architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, performance & integration with new or existing systems/platforms in a mission critical real-time environment
· Hands-on background in enterprise & embedded Linux & IBM software components (websphere, DB2, Tivoli) with design skills in a client/server environment required
· Clear understanding of real-time distributed transactions, wireless communications, & database technology required
· BSCS plus 10+ years experience developing, designing & leading complex designs
· Report directly to VP, Development
