Business Development Representative

****Exciting opportunity to be a part of a company that names drugs and products such as Frappuccino, Mountain Dew Code Red, Zyban, Sarafem, Prozac, etc.

Brand Institute, the premier full-service brand name and identity consultancy, is looking for Business Development Representatives to generate new business and maintain current client relationships.

Business Development Representatives will conduct product discussions and provide company and product information via phone, mail and e-mail. A successful candidate will be able to work closely with the sales Directors to set meeting appointments, and facilitate sales opportunities.

Business Development Representatives will have the opportunity to grow within the company through multiple positions such as Manager, Associate Director and Director. Business Development Representatives will also have an opportunity to learn all aspects of Brand Institute's business in such areas as Nomenclature Development, Trademark Screening, Market Research and Design.

Must have a strong command of the English language. Business Development Representatives will need to quickly gain proficiency in using the ACT! Database software and will need to maintain comprehensive records that facilitate effective communication and reporting.

The ideal candidates will posses:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A clear, strong and friendly tone of voice is a requirement. Understanding of sales cycle. Prior Business Development/Inside Sales experience preferred Strong prospecting, account management skills. Demonstrated success in telesales/telemarketing/cold calling with Fortune 500 Companies and beyond. Process-oriented and the ability to efficiently conduct a high volume of calls and simultaneously manage multiple opportunities. Proven ability to excel and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Software knowledge including MS Office Suite.
