| | Broad Function & Scope of the Position: The Demand Analyst (Senior Associate) supports shipment forecasting and reporting activities in the monthly S&OP process. The Demand Analyst uses historical data, statistical models, and forecast information from sales, marketing, and other demand planners as inputs into the volume planning process. The Demand Analyst is expected to accurately enter and maintain forecasts within the advanced planning tool as well as support other demand planners through note taking, data input, and report preparation. Principle Responsibilities: Forecasting · Maintain forecasts accurately at item and distribution center level · Collect and review forecasts and other inputs from sales, marketing, and demand planning · Monitor current forecasts compared to shipments and make appropriate forecast adjustments · Respond to questions regarding volume forecasts and key performance indicators · Provide statistical analysis of strategic demand plans, including what-if scenario modeling · Develop and maintain strong advanced planning software skills · Utilize statistical models appropriately in volume planning process Reporting · Prepare weekly and monthly key performance indicator reports · Highlight forecast issues and risks · Assist in defining, standardizing, and implementing demand planning reports Process · Support issue resolution and consensus building for strategic demand plans · Capture and publish key volume drivers from demand planning meetings · Support demand planning process improvement projects Qualifications: · BS/BA in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or other related field · 0-3 years experience in planning, consulting, forecasting, or other analytical · Strong Microsoft Office skills · Ability to work in a cross-functional and team oriented environment WE OFFER: · Competitive salary · Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) and Pension Plan Del Monte Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
