Fashion Apparel Production Coordinator

(Position is based in Los Angeles, California - No relocation provided)

In order to qualify, you MUST meet the following Required Skills and Qualifications:

· MUST be fluent in CHINESE and have fashion/retail background. THIS IS PRIORITY.

· Bachelors degree in a FASHION/APPAREL-RELATED FIELD REQUIRED.

· Minimum 1-2 years of direct fashion production/product development work experience, SPECIFICALLY in the FASHION RETAIL/APPAREL INDUSTRY. This is REQUIRED.

· Strong project management and communication skills

· Proactive problem problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

· Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines.

Job Position Roles and Responsibilities:

The Production Coordinator MUST have experience in the fashion apparel industry and is responsible for coordinating information for development of new styles from conception through production.

· Communicate with agents and overseas vendors in English & Chinese to coordinate production process and track delivery status of orders on a daily basis ensuring delivery to buyers are on schedule

· Maintain data and files for production matters and provide weekly reports to managers/supervisors.

· Assist with product development process in garments/apparel, including management of pre-production samples and other items. Track all samples from proto to final production.

· Create/communicate trim and fabric standards and color trends with buyers and vendors, confirming and following up on all development details.
