Summary

Entrust is looking for a PKI Deployment Engineer to join our growing Managed Services PKI team at our Washington, DC area location (McLean, VA). Entrust Managed Services PKI runs a software-as-a-service offering out of state of the art data centers. The person filling this position will be responsible for maintaining existing PKI systems as well as deploying PKI solutions for new customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing PKI systems – patch existing systems, deploy new components based on customer demand
  • Work with customers to analyze their needs and then deploy a PKI solution to meet it
  • Problem analysis following any service issues to prevent recurrence
  • Perform product evaluations and make product recommendations
  • Identify security risks to our systems and suggest mitigations

Skills - Required

  • Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructures (PKIs) and related technologies (LDAP directories, HSMs, OCSP) and security practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

Skills - Desirable

  • Working knowledge of Entrust suite of PKI products (Security Manager, Administration Services, Security Manager Proxy)
  • Hands-on experience with Safenet or nCipher Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)
  • Experience with directory products (LDAP)
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
  • CISSP or similar certification

Key Requirements

  • Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, clearable to Secret
  • College or university graduate with degree in IT preferred
