ERP Financial - Project Manager: The Franklin Career Group

One of our clients has asked our help in finding an ERP Project Manager.

The position is located in Indiana and there is generous relocation assistance.

The ERP Project Manager – Finance/Administration is responsible for the applications and solutions which support business users and processes in Finance (General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit/Collections, Financial Reporting, Budgeting/Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Fixed Assets) and Human Resources.

The Primary responsibilities include:

¨ Analysis, design and implementation of new system solutions and system improvements

¨ Coordinates communication with business departments to define business requirements and confirm system decisions.

¨ Manages IT personnel responsible for the implementation and support of system applications and associated system technologies.

¨ Responsible for ensuring that documentation for systems environment, procedures and processes associated with production IT systems is complete.

¨ Works closely with other IT managers and staff to ensure appropriate end to end solutions are created and maintained for both internal and external customers.

¨ Support and participate in SOX audits as needed.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

¨ 5+ years experience with technologies (applications and infrastructure) supporting the specific business area e.g. Financial Management Systems or ERP systems, HRIS systems

¨ Our client is specifically looking for experience with IFS financial accounting module. If there is no IFS experience then the ideal candidate should have experience implementing financial/accounting modules of other ERP systems such as Oracle or Lawson, etc

¨ 2+ years experience with application development, including enhancements and fixes.

¨ 2+ years experience with key technologies utilized such as. Oracle databases, SQL and PL/SQL, Unix, Java, GIS is preferred

¨ 2+ years experience with specific package solutions e.g. JD Edwards, IFS, Cybersource, Vertex, Get Paid, Workday, Optio, Hyperion, Concur, is preferred

¨ Exposure to and experience working with General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit/Collections, Financial Reporting, Budgeting/Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Fixed Assets and Human Resources

¨ Professional Certification, such as PMP is preferred

¨ Technical Certification (e.g., JDE or IFS certified is preferred)
