Providence is calling Lab Assistant's
The Lab Assistant I is responsible for obtaining blood samples from patients as required and processing samples as directed. Processing specimens includes: centrifugation, separation, delivery to department, and prep for transfer to lab, ordering tests in Meditech. General clinical duties as back up to Laboratory Clerk. We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence.
Position Specifics.
This position is located at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA. This position is 35 hrs/wk; variable shift.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Successful completion of a phlebotomy program preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: Phlebotomy certificate preferred.
Experience: Previous phlebotomy experience preferred.
