Position Description: You will lead the product management of Brocade's Data Center Edge/Access Products. In addition to shaping the strategic vision and product roadmap, you will be responsible for the entire product life cycle, including analyzing market and customer use models, defining product features, developing and executing go to market strategies and working cross-functionally to bring Brocade product successfully into the Data Center market. This position reports to the Director of Product Management, and is located in San Jose, CA. Primary responsibilities include: •Develop business cases, prioritize product features for each release, establish short and long-term product line goals and strategies •Drive comprehensive go-to-market plans for new products that include positioning, pricing, collateral development, and training •Define and write product requirements (MRDs). •Create positioning for product features and pricing that ensures competitiveness and derives market value •Define and manage the product roadmap to support business goals •Launch new products or major enhancements to existing products by working cross-functionally in core teams with product development, sales, marketing, and operations. •Manage the product life cycle, from conception to launch to maintenance to end of life •Rationalize Data Center market/customer needs, industry competitive landscape, and new technology enablers •Present product positioning to end customers and channel partners, provide education and training to the field and OEMs •25% travel is required Qualifications: •BS degree, MBA preferred with greater than 10 years work experience, greater than 4 years in the LAN and/or SAN business •Prior experience in product management in a storage, server, or networking technology company a requirement •Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills •Strong analytical and business management skills •Strong strategic thinking combined with great execution •Enthusiasm and passion for growing a business •Demonstrated leadership experience driving cross-functional teams •Ability to learn quickly, with strong problem-solving skills To Apply Visit Brocade Communications Systems, Inc.
