Director of Educational Technology and Information Systems

This position will provide leadership of the District’s technology program, and will supervise the maintenance and safety of the information systems for the Bethlehem Central School District .

Proven Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Knowledge of current educational trends, methods, research, and advancements in technology

· Ability to identify important issues or problems in the coordination of technology programs

· Knowledge of District, State and Federal policies, guidelines, laws and rules related to educational technology and information systems

· Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data

· Must have demonstrated management and supervisory skills to advance technology services for the benefit of students and staff in a school setting or equivalent

Qualifications:

· Master’s degree or higher, or an equivalent degree in educational technology or information technology field;

· New York State SAS/SDA/SBL, SDL or equivalent certification as a school administrator preferred;

· Or Civil Service qualified
