Strategist, Email Marketing: Experian CheetahMail

We are looking for a Client Strategist to work with a high profile, financial services client. Our goal is to help our client deepen the relationship with its customers and prospects through optimal use of the interactive space and email marketing channel. The Client Strategist is responsible for working with the client to define and achieve program objectives that can be executed on by the greater CheetahMail Account Services and Technology teams. This position is based part-time onsite at the clients New York City headquarters

Job responsibilities include:

· Identify client business and marketing objectives through conducting client research and participating in client meetings

· Lead and conduct market research to understand the interactive marketplace - particularly within the financial and credit card services sector and within email marketing

· Analyze results, find insights, develop recommendations from such industry and client-specific research

· Develop insightful, concise, and powerfully written decks/reports for clients

· Proactively play a thought leadership role in client’s projects to drive interactive innovation

· Brainstorm and propose new and enhanced online content, tools, and strategies

· Help structure comprehensive digital strategies and approaches from recommendations

· Assist, when required, in the development of execution plans or operational considerations for strategies that come to fruition

Requirements:

· 5-8 years of experience, as a Business or Marketing Strategist, or closely-related position

· A strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data and provide insights that align with business objectives/goals

· Experience with market research

· Insights/experience in interactive marketing – email marketing a plus

· Experience leading project teams

· Proven ability to build strong relationships with both internal account teams and external partners

· Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with ability to communicate effectively to junior and senior team members

· Strong PowerPoint and writing skills

· A keen interest in, and enthusiasm for technology

· Knowledge of financial services sector (credit card industry specifically) – a plus

· Position is based part-time at our corporate office and 2-3 days per week at a New York City based client in downtown Manhattan (walking distance from our Corporate office)

· Travel is minimal

· Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus
