Digital Inspections specializes in utility maintenance management, primarily through the sales and service of the CASCADE ™ Utility Asset Health Maintenance Management & Inspection System, and other ancillary products associated with CASCADE.

Location and team


Digital Inspections is located in Corvallis, Oregon. Digital Inspections is wholly owned by KEMA, an international company providing energy consulting, technology implementation and market knowledge expertise to 500 energy and utility clients in over 70 countries. With more than 700 consultants dedicated to the global utility industry, KEMA professionals include leading authorities in energy/utility technologies and business/management processes. Digital Inspections is seeking an experienced software sales professional with substantial experience in sales and account management to join the CASCADE sales team. Sales experience to the electric utility transmission, distribution, and generation areas is preferred but not required. This position is based in Corvallis, Oregon.

Tasks may include

The Account Manager will work closely with Digital Inspections Sales Manager to further ongoing CASCADE sales and other opportunities associated with CASCADE and the CASCADE user community. The primary responsibilities are as follows:

• Meet or exceed the assigned sales booking quota and identify short-term as well as long-term business opportunities in the electric utility industry
• Develop, implement and manage business development strategies and achieve annual growth revenue targets
• Establish and maintain deep, meaningful bi-directional relationships with current and future clients
• Gather intelligence and obtain a clear and comprehensive understanding of the client's business issues and challenges

What we're asking


• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of account management experience, preferably in large systems software sales
• Solid technical familiarity with the electric utility industry and a good overall understanding of the energy industry, trends and products is preferred
• Demonstrated creativity and innovation in cross functional selling with ability to present oneself in a professional manner at all times
• Training experience on a selling methodology, and training in account management is desired
• Effective listening skills with proven track record in consistently meeting/exceeding sales goals
• Excellent interpersonal skills to create, maintain and continue profitable and growing relationships with existing and potential customers
• Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with customers/prospects as well as with internal resources
• Act and behave as a dedicated Digital Inspections/KEMA representative at all times
• Willingness to travel within the United States up to 50% of the time
