Job Description:
We have an IMMEDIATE opportunity with a leader in the healthcare industry. This is a 2 month CONTRACT position for an Identity and Access Management Engineer in Pleasanton, CA. As an Identity and Access Management Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering, development, and implementation of Enterprise Identity Management infrastructure (comprised of instances of IBM directory server (ITDS), IBM Tivoli identity Management applications (ITIM), WebSphere Application Server, DB2, and the IBM http server. You will analyze project requirements for the production environment, enterprise directory infrastructure design and engineering, and implementation consulting. You will create documentation for configuration, procedural, and technical changes to the environment, and will provide technical support. Duties include installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting IdM software, developing scripts to process data flow into and out of the various directories, and manipulating data within directories. This role is also responsible to execute directory utilities to maintain the health of the directories, and participate in directory, domain, and schema definition work.
This position requires a BA/BS degree with 5 years of related experience with complex organizations, 3+ years of senior level development/engineering experience, and direct experience with the support of one or more Identity Management technologies and related protocols. You will also need a minimum of 5 years of experience building and integrating DB2 (including HACMP), HIS (web servers), WAS, and TIM. Additional experience related to performance tuning of these applications is highly desirable. You should have strong networking skills, particularly in the area of load balancing and failover. Also desirable would be strong shell scripting and Perl programming skills.
