ASSISTANT MANAGER

PARTY CITY has over 500 nationwide locations and we currently have dynamic growth opportunities for an Assistant Manager at our stores in Watauga & Hurst.

Job Responsibilities:

I. CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Promote Customer Service
  • Drive Sales
  • Resolve Customer Issues

II. RECEIVING

  • Oversee Receiving Function

III. SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS

  • Supervise sales associates
  • Develop Daily Task Priorities
  • Oversee Store Operations
  • Store Opening and Closing Responsibilities
  • Supervise Cash Management and Loss Prevention Policies
  • Manage Associate Issues

IV. MERCHANDISING

  • Oversee Merchandising in Store
  • Manage the Seasonal Area
  • Keep General Manager Informed of what is Selling Well
  • Maintain Adherence to Planners and Plan-O-Grams
  • Manage Inventory Levels and In-Stock Condition

V. ORDERING/ASSIGNED SECTION

  • Responsible for Ordering Products and Categories as Determined by General Manager

We require excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to motivate your staff, personal leadership skills, ability to maintain composure under pressure and good organizational skills.
