Medical Technologist Supervisor

Job Title: Resource Med Tech (supervisor)

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Minimum Education: B.S. degree in Medical Technology or related

subject

Required Certification: ASCP, HEW, or AMT national certification

Minimum Experience: Minimum of 5 years of pertinent lab medicine

experience.

Serves as the front line supervisor of the outreach program at Cobb and the acting manager PRN. Is responsible for:

* QC
* PI
* Safety
* Continuing education
* Regulatory and Compliance records
* Employee orientation
* Periodic and Annual employee evaluations
* Supplies, invoices, reimbusements, billing
* Time and attendance
* Workload
* Preparing written policies and procedures
* Troubleshooting, Customer Service and conflict resolution
* Patient registration
