L3 Multicast Engineer: Foundry Networks

Position Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be part of a fast-paced team developing/porting/maintaining basic and advanced IPv4/v6 multicast features on various router platforms. The candidate will also interact with customer support in addressing customer issues in IPv4 and IPv6 areas.

Primary Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experiences working on routing platforms in one or more of the following areas:

· PIM-SM/SSM/DM

· DVMRP

· IGMPv3, IGMPv2

· MLDv2, MLDv1

· MSDP

· MBGP

· Multicast snooping

· Multicast forwarding

In addition the candidate should have:

1) Strong commitment to meet schedules with high quality
2) Good communication skills and ability to work smoothly in a team
3) Good programming and debugging skills in embedded system environment

Position Requirements:

· MS EE/CS. 4+ years direct software development experience

· Implementation experience of IPv6 protocols

· Knowledge of BGP/OSPF/ISIS

· Knowledge of Layer 2
