Manager - Test Engineering

Job Description:

Responsible for providing test and evaluation support to product management and engineering for software and hardware programs and related hardware products developed by third party developers or company engineers. Generates test reports and recommends products for production or further testing. Interfaces with Product Marketing and Engineering to resolve any product performance and test issues. Responsible for documenting, preparing and distributing product test reports to the Software QA group and the rest of the company. Provides evaluation assistance and support to Product Marketing as requested to test and confirm reported problems. Reviews and evaluates new products, verifies and ensures the quality of software and hardware products, and provides support to resolve customer product issues. This is a managerial position and the person will be in charge of managing a small team.

Job Requirements:

BSEE / BSCS or equivalent required. 5+ years in a QA role of wireless products (802.11, WIMAX, UWB) Previous managment experience is a plus. Must have detailed knowledge of RF Technology Windows and Linux operating systems.

Detail knowledge in hardware and software compatibility issues, as well as video streaming over wireless subsystems is a plus. Good oral and written communication skills, and an aptitude for interacting effectively with others
