Job Description
Record and maintain contract documents in the accounting system and generate monthly billings to customers on CPFF, T&M, and FFP type contracts. Analyze, reconcile, and track the various elements of unbilled receivables. Validate the revenue calculations of the accounting system. Responsible for various accounting functions to include preparing and recording adjusting journal entries and monthly general ledger account reconciliations. Assist, review and verify financial data prepared by others. Facilitate special ad hoc projects and assignments as needed. Assist with other accounting functions as needed.
Required Skills
Bachelors Degree required with a minimum of five years experience. Requires intermediate computer skills in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook, and the ability to use calculators, copiers, and other office equipment, organizational skills, attention to detail, and advanced knowledge of government contracting. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills are also an important aspect of this job as well as the ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Prior GCS Premier accounting software experience is strongly preferred. Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
