Shared Services Manager II

Purpose Statement

Provides support to internal IS application and project teams to enable the delivery and sustainment of global solutions that support business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1) Maintains departmental processes in accordance with internal Software Validation Policy.

2) Analyzes the needs of IS application and project teams and establishes detail level objectives, goals, and priorities for implementing internal processes to support IS initiatives or provide on-going project support.

3) Provides project management support for projects in the area of software methodology, configuration and change management, and compliance quality system regulations.

4) Oversees and guides the execution of the Software CAPA workstream.

5) Provides direct support for external audits and inspections and internal audits related to IS Processes; provides support for application teams during internal audits.

6) Provides governance and facilitation of the portfolio of demand for process improvements and associated software tools (e.g. System Development Tools)

7) Provides management of teams and managers (e.g. IS Training Team)

Preferred Qualifications

1) Strong verbal and written communication skills

2) Ability to drive consensus, influence and manage through conflict

3) Familiarity with external regulations around Software Quality (21 CFR Parts 11 and 820)

4) Experience with CAPA processes

5) Experience supporting external and internal audits and inspections (audit facing experience is a plus)

6) Expertise in Global System Methodology (GSM) and System Change Request (SCR)

7) 3-5 years experience managing teams and projects

8) Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred.

9) PMP certification is a plus
