Housekeeping Associate: Golds Gym International, Inc

Position Description:

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and ensure it is sanatized.
• Sweeps, dusts, mops scrubs and vacuums hallways, stairs, office space and other assigned areas of the overall gym.
• Cleans, mops, scrubs, polishes, and disinfects all bathroom areas as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining a sufficient supply of materials (e.g. towels, tissue, soap, etc.) in all bathrooms in assigned areas.
• Empties trash and garbage containers in all assigned areas, as well as the gym overall.
• Maintains all floor areas in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
• Observes equipment for potential safety hazards.




Qualifications:

• High school education or it's equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience or training is required, however, six (6) months of work experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand, accept and discharge written and verbal duties.
• Must be teachable and then follow instructions.
• Must be 17 years old.
• Oral and written English language abilities are required.
• Exercise good judgment and discernment.
• Service oriented and able to interface with many people is mandatory.
• Multitasked in an environment with many distractions is a must.
• Able to lift, pull, push, grasp and bend while lifting up to 50lbs.
• Repetitive motions for an extended duration of time are required.
• May be asked to be certified with CPR/AED and first aid.
