What we are looking for:
Preference will be given to those candidates with 5 or more years experience as an inpatient coder Previous academic facility experience desired. Experience with Softmed’s clinical abstracting and experience and Siemen’s A2K also helpful. Proven success working in the remote environment is also helpful. Our coders are accountable to achieve high productivity and quality standards. For the experienced candidate we are willing to train remotely; less qualified candidates would be required to work onsite during the training period.
Candidates are preferred to have RHIA, RHIT, or CCS credentials. Three years full time recent inpatient coding experience is also required.
