General Summary: The Pharmacist is responsible for safe and effective medication management of all patients, the efficient operation of the Pharmacy Department, and the continued compliance with all JCAHO standard.
Required: Current license in the State of Oregon as a Registered Pharmacist. Evidence of ongoing education.· Philosophy consistent with the mission and values of Providence Seaside Hospital and the Sisters of Providence.· Ability to present a professional image to patients, family members, physicians. · Ability to handle information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality. · Ability to cope with high levels of responsibility in a positive, constructive, and calm manner. · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. · Ability to plan, organize, manage, and prioritize a busy workload.
