Product Certification Auditor: NSF International

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Conduct monitoring and initial audits.

2. Manage enforcement issues stemming from certification audits

3. Provide a timely response to corrective actions proposed by NSF clients.

4. Conduct special visits to investigate product failures and verify the implementation of corrective actions taken by NSF clients.

5. Investigate and resolve complaints

6. Develop cost effective work plans for the completion of assigned audits.

7. Establish and maintain effective communication with program representatives and project managers as it relates to assigned clients

8. Monitor and report client needs, service delivery issues, and competitive threats to management team.

9. Develop business by responding to inquiries, conducting introductory visits, conducting seminars, and attending conferences in support of NSF's business units (as authorized).

10.Support NSF's business units by assisting clients in the identification of additional NSF services that may be beneficial (examples - new products for certification, test only services, quality system registration).

11.Perform other duties as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in environmental health, related science, or business.
   
2. Two (2) years related industry auditing experience.
   
3. Ability to work independently from remote (home based) location.
   
4. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
   
5. Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
   
6. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
   
7. Ability to obtain a profession registration (environmental health, engineering, or related profession).
8. Must possess a valid driver's license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Advanced degree in environmental health, related science or business.

2. Experience auditing or with quality control.

3. A minimum of two (2) years experience working in the public or private sector as a health sanitarian.

4. Work experience as a chemist, microbiologist, or related quality function.

5. Professional registration.

6. Foreign language skills (Spanish, French, other languages).

7. Travel experience.
