New Business Acquisition and Business Development

Promote and sell the world's leading logistics provider services in person to small to mid-size accounts.

  • Meet designated sales targets and generate revenue.
  • Respond to customer needs and requirements with the appropriate logistic service.
  • Develop relationships with new clients by prospecting and responding to business development needs. Monitor and review customer sales activity and make adjustments to process and strategies.
  • Daily in person prospecting to establish and qualify clients/prospects.
  • Generate new accounts and new revenue on an ongoing daily basis.

Tasks

  • Generate new revenue and/or profit in small to mid-size accounts face to face on a daily basis
  • Sell to an established account base and identify new prospective customers;
  • Extend face to face contact to existing and inactive customers to sell new or additional products and/or services and to provide customer satisfaction, drive retention and increase revenue.
  • Handles inquiries generated by advertising.
  • Close sales face to face, in person and prepare appropriate order documentation.
  • Coordinate with sales management on implementation of sales plans, including special promotional efforts.
  • Achieve the sales dollar volumes expected to meet and exceed designated quota requirements.


PAID TRAINING

  • Classroom and field training.
  • Training will include sales model as well as product and process training.
  • Ongoing training consists of weekly training session that include role plays and continued product training in market Field training with Sales Manager

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive Base salary 21K
  • Top Dollar Commissions for a Total Target compensation 40-50KPLUS

Qualified Candidates

1-2 years sales experience (business-business experience preferred), proven face to face cold calling and prospecting skills, with the ability to close new business and increase revenue in a fast paced outside sales team environment.

  • Possess the ability to cold call and prospect for new business
  • Strong desire to succeed
  • Extremely organized
  • Possess strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to multi task
  • Able to pay close attention to detail
  • Able to analyze and use own judgment to assist and resolve problems
  • Positive attitude and willing to learn and develop skill sets.
