PAINTERS – FT-St. Paul

CommonBond Communities, a nationally recognized provider of affordable housing and support services for residents, is looking for a full time individuals (40 hrs/week) to work as Painters at various housing communities in the Twin Cities metro area. This is a full-time year-round benefits eligible position. The Painter is responsible for building and unit painting, sheetrock work, interior and exterior surface preparation and coating selections.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1.) High school diploma or equivalent.

2.) Ability to work independently.

3.) Ability to adhere to paint industry painting and safety standards.

4.) Demonstrated record keeping skills.

5.) Must provide own hand tools and hand painter tools (brushes, etc.).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1.) Ability to push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds.

2.) Ability to kneel, crouch, and stoop.

3.) Ability to work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions.

4.) Ability to reach above and below shoulders.

5.) Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.

6.) Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, pull, manipulate tools,

machinery and objects.

7.) Ability to climb a ladder and work above ground.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

1.) Ceiling texturing experience needed.
