Claims Supervisor - Wauwautosa, WI or Horsham, PA
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinating daily activities of claim team
- Ensuring performance guarantees and service goals are maintained
- Supervising and developing claim staff
- Providing expertise or general claims support to team in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing and adjusting claims
- Authorizing the appropriate payment
- Determining appropriate course of action
- Identifying and analyzing trends
- Impact of work is most often at the team level.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Supervisory, leadership and coaching/mentoring skills required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
- Computer skills proficiency in MS/Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- College degree or equivalent work experience required
- Claims experience is preferred.
- Experience with MS/Access is preferred.
