The Portfolio Analyst is responsible for executing investment programs designed to achieve the objectives of Institutional Trust clients as well as developing, maintaining, and implementing advanced computer based applications. This role is charged with collaborating with a team of Portfolio Managers in providing integrated investment advice and portfolio management services to institutional trust clients. The Portfolio Analyst will also implement policies and programs approved by management for client accounts. The candidate must be a collaborative team player with excellent communication and organzational skills, advanced high level computer proficiency, and a high level of professionalism. An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent is required. A strong background in mathematics is preferred. This person will work under the direction of management and senior portfolio managers.
Required Skills:
  • An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
  • Strong investment, analytical and communication skills.
  • Advanced high level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Morningstar Work Station, and statistical computer programs.
  • An advanced understanding of financial markets and the investment management business.
  • Ability to work well with short deadlines and proficiently handle multiple tasks at once.
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of Reuters, Bloomberg, SAS and Advent applications.
  • Strong educational background in Mathematics and/or Statistics.
  • CFA or progress toward.
