SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Classic ASP and ASP.NET

This is an opportunity to work independently in developing and implementing systems-level software solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of design specifications, software encoding, debugging, unit testing, documentation and integration of applications with a high level of complexity. For the chosen candidate, we offer a starting package which includes a generous salary and benefit program.

THE POSITION:

  • Participate in requirements gathering needed to design or modify applications.
  • Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design.
  • Optimzes usage of computer resources.
  • Develops and implements software system testing procedures, programming and documentation.
  • Provides technical advice and consultation on difficult applications.
  • Acts as liason with outside vendors of software application products.
  • Works independently while consulting with manager on overall project strategies.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: (Bachelor's degree) in Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of prior related experience.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, XML, ASP.NET required.
  • Experience with classic ASP, VB Web Services and Windows Services required.
  • Illustrator and Photoshop scripting experience a plus.
  • Positive spirit and sense of humor a must.
