Consultant - Healthcare - Patient Throughput: Datapros For Healthcare Inc.

This position is for a Healthcare Consultant that specializes in patient throughput. Experience with process improvement and work flow processes is required to assist healthcare institutions with improving their internal processes from Admission to Discharge. The Consultant will assess and identify areas for improvement, prepare a report outlining recommendations and implement the recommendations. The Consultant will focus on patient bed access, length of stay and bed control identifying inefficiencies, cost savings and revenue enhancement opportunities. This individual may also fill interim management roles as needed and provide management mentoring.

The individual that holds this position is responsible for the following:

• Consults, as a team member or individually, with clients to define a need or problem area
• Determines scope of investigation required to obtain solution
• Conducts studies, surveys, data collection and analysis to advise on or recommend solutions, such as installation of alternative methods and procedures, changes in processing methods and practices, or redesign of products and services, etc.
• Assists client with implementation of recommended solutions
• Performs data analysis, report writing and presentation of findings to the client
• May function in an interim management role on client site
• May function in a project manager role as needed

Experience in management required, at the Director level specifically. Experience as a consultant a plus. A Bachelor's degree is required, Masters preferred and certification in your specialty also a plus.

May have up to 100% travel to customer site. You are not required to relocate, but be near a major airport. Travel expenses are covered.
