Description

The SQL Database Developer analyzes business problems and then evaluates and recommends solutions. This person may install a purchased package and develop interfaces to existing systems or may design, develop, document, test, and install application software. He or she works independently or on a small team with minimal supervision. He or she may conduct trial runs of software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct. This person may perform revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or to adapt to new requirements.

The Candidate should have Microsoft SQL Server experience writing efficient queries, triggers, functions, and stored procedures. Experience with .NET programming, SSIS, SSRS, Crystal Reports, or IBM DB2 is desirable. Prior work with Microsoft SharePoint or Performance Point is a plus.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Logistics or related major is preferred
  • At least 5 years of related work experience
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and occasional chaos
  • Must be full of positive energy and a good fit in our existing small team
