A Client Services Analyst provides support to assigned Mercer Health Care & Group benefits clients, and serves as a technical resource to the client and client services administrators. To fulfill this role, the Analyst will:
  • Review team's correspondence
  • During these reviews look for and document any potential problem patterns
  • Assist Client Services Team Leader and Client & Participant Services Manager in making sure metrics are met
  • Respond to technical Health Care & Group benefits questions from plan sponsors and plan participants - in person, in writing, and over the telephone
  • Read and interpret plan documents and summary plan descriptions
  • Interact with trustees
  • Use in-house systems to ensure accuracy and consistent documentation.

Qulifications include:

  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Experience in Health and Group benefits
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient with Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with prior software implementation and training
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong self-starter, fast learner, quality conscious, committed to deadlines
