Provide general accounting support to the Finance and Accounting Department. Responsible for journal entry preparation, revenue recognition issues, general ledger and subsidiary account analysis, financial report generation, and monthly reconciliations. Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts. Analyze and reconcile expenditure and review accounts. Prepare monthly financial package including budget variance analysis for assigned entities and departments. Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. Assist in the preparation of month-end and quarter-end closing, and coordination with other staff members to facilitate. Develop positive relationships with internal and external clients and respond to general inquiries. Assists with quarterly and annual requests from internal and external auditors. Ensure revenue is recognized in proper periods.

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in accounting or CPA certificate and three to five years’ of work related experience in accounting required and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point software applications. Experience with MAS 500, Project Accounting, and TMI preferred.
