SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER - BIRMINGHAM, AL

As a Sales Account Manager, you will aggressively prospect and develop accounts, generate sales quotes, and handle customer inquiries. In addition, you will make cold calls for new market initiatives while becoming technically knowledgeable about our products. Requirements

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience BTB, in an industrial distribution environment. Bachelors degree preferred as well as the following skills, knowledge and abilities:

  • Must have record success in cold calling, qualifying leads, positioning value-added services and closing business.
  • Must be able to learn products, sales processes, and systems.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Must be fast-paced, goal orientated professionals who can provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
  • Strong computer skills.
