The client marketing manager’s primary goal is to help our clients become more successful in meeting and exceeding their business objectives by becoming a subject matter expert on various marketing tactics, establishing and sharing marketing best practices, and making clients aware of new marketing/product opportunities that meet their needs.
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining favorable relationships with new and existing clients as well as internal TDC personnel. The client-marketing manager will also develop strategic and tactical marketing plans with clients in order to fulfill contractual obligations that are in line with TDC overall company and product strategies. Budget management will also be a critical component of this position.
Essential Functions:
- Establish and share marketing best practices with clients to make them more successful
- Craft product messaging for client-facing Sales materials
- Create Sales execution plans for selling new and existing products
- Write B2B whitepapers on marketing strategies and TDC technologies to meet clients’ evolving needs
- Cultivate, manage, and grow client relationships in order to deliver excellent customer service and value to our clients
- Develop sound marketing plans that meet client needs to drive ticket volume and support overall TDC strategic objectives
- Deliver tactical execution on all aspects of client marketing and sales plan to achieve any revenue and related targets; including coordinating email marketing, web merchandising, etc. when appropriate
- Provide quarterly client marketing reporting to clients and Sales Team showing activity and campaign effectiveness
- Serve as primary marketing resource for the Sales Team
Requirements:
- 2 or more years of experience in a marketing role, preferably client-facing
- 1 or more years of experience with online marketing, search engine marketing, email marketing, social media, and search engine optimization a plus
- Positive attitude and proactive approach
- Willingness to stay on top of and educate clients on evolving trends with online marketing, search engine marketing, email marketing, social media, and search engine optimization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to develop, execute and analyze marketing campaigns
- Must be able to multi-task, working independently and with others both internally and externally
- Must be extremely detail oriented, deadline driven and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify, analyze, and proactively respond to problematic situations, render sound judgment, and provide recommended courses of action when necessary
- Proven ability to work with a broad variety of clients across all levels
- Flexibility to assist with additional projects as needed
