The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to develop the quarterly Lockdown software releases. These bundle operating system configuration changes for known vulnerabilities into a convenient easy-to-install executable for customer deployment. The candidate will also be responsible for unit testing the Lockdown software prior to releasing it for testing (SVT). This position requires comfort working in a computer lab, as well as comfort working onsite at a customer’s facility.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, including administration skills
- Experience with Vista and Windows 7: familiarity with the latest Windows operating systems
- Experience with Sun Solaris or Linux operating systems, including administration skills
- Experience with Development languages: Python, .NET, C++, Java
- Networking skills: ability to create basic wired and wireless networks
- Database skills: running simple SQL commands, installing db software
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Professional certifications (e.g. CISSP or CompTIA Security+ ) are a plus
- Knowledge of VoIP systems
