Full Time Retail Store Manager, Kingston, NY, Kingston South
Position Description
If you are looking for an exciting, fast paced and challenging career in retail management then become part of the AT&T company store organization. Effectively supervise all aspects of a retail location. This position is responsible for recruitment, selection, development and training of all retail sales personnel. Responsible for maintaining a full staff. Guides and evaluates employee performance. Consistently achieve sales objectives including activations, accessories, services and revenue goals. Track and measure retail store performance. Prepare sales projections, management reports and retail store correspondence. Job responsibility will include managing to a P&L. Effectively manage store payroll including overtime and temp expenses. Also will be required to manage operating revenues and expenses. Guides and evaluates staff's performance by providing timely feedback. Supports employees during the peak period and manages the store schedule. Successfully completes all sales and data training programs that are identified as core curriculum within the recommended time frame. Completes all performance reviews. Ensures team provides customers with World-Class experience. Understanding the competition. Prepares Mystery Shopper results. Manage churn. Acts as subject matter expert to sales team. Will complete required paperwork in timely manner, including weekly updates. Manages inventory and cash to meet established guidelines. Responsible for daily financial, accounting, and inventory control. Responsible for following safety guidelines as set by the company. Uphold AT&T Mobility values and business ethics and maintain the highest level of confidentiality concerning AT&T Mobility assets and proprietary information. Maintains store appearance and merchandising to company standards. This position will also be responsible to implement store promotions and achieve sales and financial objective, within a timely manner. Assists in special projects or other duties as assigned by management.
Position Qualifications
3-5 years management experience in the telecommunications and/or
retail industry. 3-5 years sales experience, including prospecting,
telemarketing and/or outside sales. Excellent sales skills and
demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work
flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability
to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier and fax.
Ability to work at multiple locations within district preferred. Must have a valid driver's license. Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
required.
