GOVERNMENT MANAGER, RAIL OPERATIONS $1,561 - $2,264 per week ($81,175 - $117,704 estimated annual) The San Mateo County Transit District, in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area, is currently seeking a Manager, Rail Operations to oversee and evaluate the performance of the Caltrain commuter rail service, develop monitoring tools, recommend and implement improvements, and ensure compliance with JPB policies & procedures, federal regulations & operating rules. Will be responsible for the implementation of service and crewing changes to the Caltrain system as needed, develop service plans for special events, and work with contract operator to handle interruptions and emergencies, as well as represent Rail Transportation, the District and the Joint Powers Board internally and externally.
