Are you a Physical Therapist seeking the adventure of a lifetime?

Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center, a 25-bed acute care hospital located in breathtaking Kodiak, Alaska, is currently seeking a full time, day shift Physical Therapist. One year experience preferred. Basic computer knowledge and good communication skills needed. If you are self motivated and flexible with working in a variety of settings this could be the position for you!

The physical therapist organizes and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function, prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part. Helps patients/residents reach maximum performance levels. Plans therapy involving physical exercise, massage, heat, water, etc. Utilizes various mechanical and electrical equipment, and prosthetic and orthotic devices. Evaluates, records, and reports on patient progress.

The ideal applicant will have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required, Master's preferred. A current license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Alaska. Basic Life Support required upon hire. Current Alaska driver's license with clean driving record and proof of current vehicle insurance. Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Alaska. BLS or the ability to attain certification within 90 days of date of hire required.

This position currently includes a 3.0% geographical differential.
