Research Data Manager: PVAMC

Research Data Manager position available for a Multi-site Study in rehabilitation. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working on clinical trials with human subjects. The data manager will be responsible for assigned administrative tasks, and will serve as back-up for Project Coordinator. Must have knowledge of relevant data management principles, concepts and methods (data storage, software applications, and networks); knowledge and experience in designing and developing databases and proficiency with data entry; experience conducting descriptive analyses using SPSS and/or STATA; knowledge of Research Regulations regarding the conduct of studies of human subjects and prior experience in preparing and submitting research protocols for Institutional Review Board (IRB) review. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be able to work independently, set priorities and manage time effectively while working as part of a larger research team.
