LifeWorks Rehab is the rehabilitation therapy sector of Medical Facilities of America. This is a comprehensive, progressive inpatient rehabilitation service for patients who have had joint replacement or other surgery, experienced a stroke, or been injured in an accident. Facility: Carolina Health Care Center of Cumberland is a 136 bed post acute care center located in Fayetteville, NC, And has a high volume rehab program, beautiful building with spacious treatment areas and new equipment. Rehab unit has 14 private rooms and 22 semi-private rooms. This center serves a mixed population of short-term rehab patients and long-term residents with a team dedicated to quality patient care. Opportunity: Carolina Health Care of Cumberland has an opportunity for a Physical Therapist licensed in the state, to join our rehab team in providing post-acute rehabilitation to a diverse population: geriatric as well as younger managed care patients. We promote reasonable productivity goals to allow you to provide high quality of care and to put the patients´ needs first.

Job Description: Evaluates residents, develops effective treatment plans, and obtains approval for service from the referring physician. Treats residents according to physician's treatment plan. Participates in discharge planning. Records evaluation, treatment, and charges. Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants and aides.
