Chief Operating Officer



A leader in its industry, this Phoenix based organization is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to oversee the development and execution of the company vision, mission, and values. As a senior member of the executive team and reporting directly to the CEO, the COO is responsible for ensuring the overall success of company wide operations. Responsibilities include:

* Oversee Operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of

resources.

*Strong strategic management skills

*Ability to establish performance metrics for the measurement of performance and rating efficiency versus effectiveness

* Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating resources and/or company revenues.

* Develop company operational procedures, policies, and standards

* Develop and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company.

* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements

* Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, salary updates, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry.

* Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

Requirements:

* MBA and 10+ years of relevant work experience or combination thereof.

*10+ years of cross functional leadership experience across operational departments

* Experience in strategic planning and execution.

* Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.

* Experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.

* Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources, and analyze/interpret financials.

* Ability to build/motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects.

*Proven track record of achievement and performance.

* Experience leading an executive team

* Must have experience in health science industry
