Requirements:
* Typically requires a BS degree and 12 years of experience, an MS degree and 9 years of experience or a PhD and 6 years of experience.
- Must be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of C language
* Must have strong analytical skills
* Embedded software development experience
* Must be comfortable developing in complex multi-threaded environments, down to the hardware interfaces
* Ability to dig into source code and quickly understand the inner-workings
Desired:
* Working knowledge of the Khronos API's (OpenMAX IL, OpenGL|ES, OpenVG) or similar (Direct3D, DirectShow, OpenGL, SVG, Gstreamer)
* Good familiarity with Linux internals, device driver implementation and kernel development
* Strong grasp of mathematical concepts commonly found in 2D/3D graphics and video compression
* Experience using Linux multimedia and graphics middleware such as X11, V4L2, ALSA, gstreamer, GTK and clutter
* Understanding of graphics and video pipelines
