JOB SUMMARY:

(NP) Liver Transplant Coordinator

This is a Casual-Full-time position with an assignment length until September 2010. The ideal candidate has pediatric liver transplant experience. However, we will consider applicants with pediatric or adult transplant experience. Additionally, critical care experience is desired.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the department Director, the Transplant Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the Transplant Program. This responsibility includes Pre-Transplant, UNOS, On-Call, Inpatient Post-Transplant and Outpatient Post-Transplant.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Current California Nurse Practitioner license

Nurse Practitioner, National (w/in 1 year of employment)

Furnishing number, State of California (w/in 1 year of employment)

DEA number, Federal (w/in 1 year of employment)

Current CPR certification (Issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross provider)
