We are looking for a PROJECT/PROGRAM MANAGEMENT consultant with strong project management skills, preferably with prior Cisco Services experience and PMP certified to implement a significant pilot program.

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Leverage a fully developed project plan in order to build an integrated project plan for an upcoming pilot using Project Management Institute (PMI) tools, techniques and processes.

· Implement the plan and take responsibility of supervising the pilot overall.

· The PM will work cross functionally with the track leaders and stakeholders outside the team and will lead an overall effort to manage, shepherd and track the pilot effort.

· Functional integration will include Marketing, Marcom, Change Management, Operations and IT development and other key functional groups.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

· Experienced Project Manager able to utilize PMI tools, techniques and processes, preferably PMP certified.

· Demonstrated skills as an organizational manager with an understanding of finance, business plans, team leadership, customer interactions, etc.

· Understanding and experience in indirect channel management (e.g. partners and distributors).

· Able to provide references who have observed candidate’s PM experience and management skills.

· Cisco Services experience is highly desirable.

· Knowledge of services support in the data communications field is a plus

· Must have good communications skills as this person will be the program team interface to theaters and Cisco partners

· Individual needs to be able to work at a detailed level and also be able to understand and drive a big picture

· Has a proven record for delivering complex and multi-year projects
