Gexpro is seeking to fill an Outside Sales role in Jackson, Tennessee.
Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed budgeted GE and non-GE sales and gross margin targets with assigned accounts in the local market. Develop account plans/penetration strategy using formal Gexpro tools with branch manager approval. Use Six Sigma methodology to grow sales profitably. Perform all aspects of selling to maintain and develop new or existing customers including: take-offs, project quotations, closing orders, preparation of submittals and resolving customer problems.
Requirements:
Electrical product knowledge; including lighting, switchgear, controls and electrical commodities. Demonstrated knowledge of electrical distribution or other electrical sales environments. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate on all levels within internal and external groups. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good team player Strong organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines. Ability to type on a computer keyboard Associate or Bachelors degree, technical school training
Desired:
- Familiarity with automated order entry systems & PCs running Windows based software.
- GE product knowledge
- Knowledgeable and current about market, customers and vendors
- Greenbelt Certification
- PC skills.
- Training program graduate
