Jr. Analyst, AP Job Description: SUMMARYThe primary purpose of this position is to assist with and support projects related to accounts payables accounting and special projects. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: - Act as database reporting specialist for the department to create and enhance processes and auditing procedures.
- Perform all accounting, reporting, and analysis related to DrugStore.com, work with DC and DS.com staff to ensure payments and billings to DS.com are accurate and complete.
- Perform and analyze monthly general ledger account reconciliations for all warehouse and DSD accounts payable.
- Prepare, complete and analyze all monthly journal entries for warehouse and DSD accounting.
- Assist with yearend PBC list for external auditors.
- Gather information for quarterly audit requests.

Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or Business, plus one (1) to two (2) years’ of accounts payable and accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
