We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team!

Job Responsibilities

  • Learn and execute proven processes to convert inbound leads into new sales opportunities
  • Promptly engage all web and phone inquiries
  • Qualify/disqualify new sales leads
  • Efficiently route qualified opportunities to Sales Managers
  • Work effectively with other members of regional sales team
  • 1) 15 minute response to all leads from demo request forms and email to sales@lyrisinc.com
    a. Pass to rep for demo as soon as possible per the attached matrix
  • 2) 30 minute response to sales line calls
    a. Maintain voicemail box
  • 3) Lead qualification
    a. Script for proper response
    b. List of qualifying questions
    c. Info always into Netsuite
    i. Name, company, phone, email, URL
    ii. Stage, source, current provider, contract expiration date
    iii. Email volume, Early Probability rating, Hot/Warm/Cold
  • 4) Lead Distribution
    a. Own the Routing Matrix
    b. Need to define key territories for each rep
    c. Re-examine territories
    d. Re-examine Lead Code document
  • 5) Lead Tracking
    a. Ensure that every lead has a lead source – if a source doesn’t exist email marketing and sales ops and request that a source be added.
    b. No account activity for 30 days – email to rep
    c. No account activity for 90 further days – lead classified as warm and routed to another rep
    d. Ensure Lost Reasons are properly entered for any deal moved to Rejected stage

Qualifications

  • 1-5 year’s sales or sales related experience
  • 4 year degree
  • Desire to succeed in high tech, SaaS

Compensation:
